Service, Repairs, & Installation FAQs

Glacier Supply is an authorized service provider for Yanmar America (industrial engines, tractors, and UTVs), Yanmar Compact Equipment (mini-excavators, track loaders, and wheeled loaders), ASV (track loaders), Antonio Carrera tractors, Norstar flatbeds, Ironbull trailers, SnowDogg plows, and SaltDogg spreaders.

Your owner’s manual outlines the routine service needed for your equipment. Yanmar tractors and compact excavators require equipment inspections at certain intervals to keep the warranty in place. You will receive a letter by mail with warranty inspection information approximately three months before the service is due. The current fee for warranty inspections is $200.00. Any parts or labor required to address issues found during the warranty inspection and not covered by the warranty are your responsibility.

We routinely work on machines and equipment from brands for which we are not a dealer such as John Deere tractors, CAT loaders, or Kubota excavators. Please call our service department to discuss specifics regarding your potential repair or service.

Appointments are required for service work. Emergency repair work can be accommodated most of the time; however, parts availability and delivery could take a few days.

Repair lengths are often determined by how long it takes to get the necessary parts. You may have to leave your machine for several days because of this.

If additional issues arise during routine service or repair work, you will be notified. You will be presented with the issue and estimates for the cost of parts and labor. The issue will only be addressed once you have given approval to proceed. However, Glacier Supply is not responsible for any damage which results from choosing not to do the repair work.

When your equipment repair or service is complete and ready for pick up, you will receive a phone call.

Absolutely. The usual delivery rates apply which are $100.00 for under 15 miles and $7.00/mile for deliveries and pick-ups over 15 miles.

Glacier Supply charges time and materials for its service and repair work. The current shop labor rate is $135.00/hour. There is also a 5% shop fee to cover incidentals like bolts, washers, cleaners, zip ties, disposal, etc. needed to complete your service or repair. Additional disposal fees for large items, such as track loader tracks, will be applied.

Credit cards are accepted. There is a 3% service charge for purchases over $500.00.

For plows and spreaders, we ask for 2 days. Please ensure that your truck bed is free of snow and ice prior to delivery. If snow or ice remains, a minimum of one hour of shop labor will be charged for its removal. Vehicles need to be brought to Glacier Supply the day before the install so that they can be housed in the shop overnight to warm up.

No. If you choose to do the plow or spreader install by yourself a discount is given.

Installation is available. Current pricing starts at $2,000.00. Vehicles with sensors or cameras needing rewiring after the installation will be charged for additional labor. The bed must be empty of trash and debris upon delivery, and the removal of the old truck bed is the owner's responsibility.
