Yes, we do! We are the only company in Montana (that we know of) that rents this equipment combination. We rent the ASV RT-135 with an 85" Fecon mulching head.
Unfortunately, no. The mulching head and loader only rent together.
The minimum rental for the RT-135 is two days.
Costs are based on the length of the rental. The table below outlines rental costs so you have an idea of what kind of total cost to anticipate. For longer rentals, DEF and diesel fuel costs will need to be considered as well.

| Rental Run Time Overage | $168.75/hour for the RT135 plus associated damage waiver and tool wear charges. Assessed if the run hours go over the allotted amount of included run hours | |||
| Damage Waiver | 10% of rental rate. If an insurance Certificate of Liability is provided with an Equipment Floater naming Glacier Construction & Supply as the Certificate Holder, this fee is waived. This documentation must be received before the rental begins | |||
| Tool Wear Charge | $22.50/run hour; charged based on actual usage per hour meter. For extended rentals, purchasing a set of teeth may be a better option | |||
| Delivery | Based on distance from our location in Bigfork; $7.00/mile with a $100.00 minimum. The
person operating the machine must be there to receive the machine upon delivery as the
RT135 and mulching head are gone over for safe and successful usage. |
|||
| Pick-up | In rare instances, some renters may be able to transport the rental equipment themselves. The truck and trailer used for hauling the ASV RT135 will need to be vetted and approved by the owner of Glacier Supply. The person operating the equipment will need to be present during the pickup of the RT135 so that the machine and its operations can be gone over | |||
| Fuel | $7.00/gallon if not returned full. (The fuel tank capacity is 52 gallons) | |||
| DEF | $23.99/container if not returned full. Depending on usage, DEF may need to be refilled twice a day while it is on rent. (The DEF tank capacity is 5.5 gallons) | |||
| Cleaning | $135.00/hour if it is returned excessively dirty; minimum cleaning charge 1 hour | |||
| Miscellaneous | The machine will need routine greasing; a grease gun is sent with the rental. | |||
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the demand for this machine, the ability to change reservation dates is highly unlikely. Prices are subject to change especially fuel and mileage costs.
Yes. Because of the demand for these machines, we require the payment of a non-refundable deposit before the reservation is confirmed. This is payable by credit card only. If the reservation is canceled for any reason, the deposit is not refundable. If the equipment is rented, the deposit goes against the balance due.
The teeth on the mulching head wear down with continued usage. To cover the costs of routine replacement, you are charged for your portion of the wear. Wear charges are based on run hours; consequently, someone who rents for just a few days does not pay the same amount as someone who rents for a month with much greater usage.
No. The damage waiver is a part of the rental agreement nor is it refunded if the machine returns undamaged. It is only removed from the rental agreement if a certificate of liability naming Glacier Supply as an insured party is produced and the proper rental equipment rider is noted on the form. For more information on the damage waiver, click here.
Because of the size and combined weight of the track loader and mulching head (approximately 16,500 lbs.), it is something we deliver. Few people have the proper capability to haul something of that size. We also deliver it so that we can give you a tutorial on how to operate the equipment so you can be safe and successful. The usual delivery and pick up charges apply:
Delivery:
Pick-up:
Any potential self-pick-up or delivery will have to be approved by the owner and the equipment vetted for capacity as well.
If an overage occurs, any hours over the allotted running time are charged at an hourly rate which is ⅛ of the daily rental rate. Damage waiver fees will also be charged on the overage as well as wear charges.
We try to keep this equipment to our service area in NW Montana. On occasion it can go out further. Please call us to discuss options.
The machine rents year-round; however, spring and fall tend to be the best times due to lower temperatures and wetter conditions. Dry conditions tend to bring up lots of dust during use, and summer fire restrictions can prevent its usage. The machine can be used in snow up to about 12”, so even winter usage is possible.
It is hard to give an accurate estimate of what can be accomplished in a day. Factors that impact what can be accomplished include:
The Fecon heads can mulch tree limbs, branches, and trunks up to 8” in diameter.
Yes and no. It is great for grinding old, rotten stumps, but not the machine for fresh, new stumps. For new stumps, renting a track loader with the Stump-Ex attachment is your best bet. We have both available for rent.
Sand will quickly wear down the teeth on the machine making it unusable. A full set of teeth will need to be replaced at your expense which is approximately $3,000.00 plus labor for installation and balancing.
